Artwork Description
This project is inspired by the events and changes that took place around me during the first six months of the COVID-19 pandemic. As spring arrived and summer followed, I felt that lockdown allowed trees and plants to bloom and grow more exuberantly than ever. In this luxuriant atmosphere, the ‘new normal’ of keeping physical distance reminded me strongly of the crown shyness phenomenon in trees.
