The Menagerie is a short story by Croatian writer Ivana Brlić Mažuranić, about five brothers and sisters who decide to put up a menagerie (a zoo) for fun, with their pets posing as exotic beasts. Their project is filled with anecdotes and humorous moments, although the game doesn’t turn out just as expected.
