Grandpa’s Candy Shop

Artwork Description

In the eighties and nineties of the last century, my grandpa sold candies in a small town in northern China. This work intends to portray one day in his life. It shows a typical small town market of the time, and depicts the meticulous and repetitive routine of its hard-working shopmen.
