Artwork Description
This story grew out of everyday moments with my daughter and the wonderfully imaginative things she says. Her mind is full of unexpected ideas, and I used watercolour to capture the most delightful of them. Told in a child’s first-person voice, the work unfolds as a fantastical prose poem. Framed as an ordinary day in a toddler’s life, it reveals an extraordinary heart alive with imagination.
