Artwork Description
A little girl is drawing with her friend Rita. Rita’s picture is beautiful, but the girl’s own drawing has a stain on it. The stain threatens to stop her from creating until something changes the way she sees the world, turning it into a source of inspiration. I wanted the stain to stand out, to jar with the girl’s world, so I dropped blue acrylic ink onto a palette of earthy tones.
